A thousand years ago, war raged among the gods of Mardias. Losing the conflict, Death and Schirach were stripped of their powers, and Saruin was imprisoned, sealed by the ten Fatestones. The Fatestones were scattered to the winds, and all fell into myth and legend. This is the world our eight heroes live in — each has their own story in this world, their own dreams and fears, their own friends and struggles, but their winding paths intersect, and they experience and shape the same events from different angles.
