Thursday Throne - Crystalis - Session 4

Lots of stuff happened last week. We defeated the sorceress, lifting the curse from the island she was on. We reached Goa, the capital of Draygonia; we found Shyron and met the "grand puba," Azteca. We retrieved the Sword of Thunder from Styx. Shyron was attacked by Draygonia, who spared few. Now, we must rescue those they took prisoner.

Okay, so I wasn't mistaken—I did beat this game yesterday. About 20 minutes after the stream began. But then, after the credits, I remembered the "Additional Campaigns," and continued into those. I finished Argul's Tomb, and decided that was a good point to call it a day. I think there's two more campaigns in there; wonder if I can clear 'em both today.

Lessee, so last time, the villagers of Leaf got kidnapped by evil kingdom/empire dudes for mine labor, but I defeated their general guy and freed them. I found another sage, who was masquerading as both the queen of a town and a fortuneteller. I befriended a dolphin, and am now riding him around an archipelago in a very angry sea. Eventful!

So, last week, I couldn't access AC3's DLC, so I had to figure out something else. Daniel suggested Crystalis, as it's a game that has been in my "to beat" pile for a very long time. So I fired it up, and made it to the village of Oak before the end of that first stream.

I reached the Tree of Life, and across it traversed to the realm of the Dead. I've not fully explored it yet, but so far, it feels like a world-sized dungeon, which is kiiiinda cool. I'm sure it'll leave me feeling lost eventually, but right now, finding puzzles spread over such a wide area is pretty neat.
