Hey, some news first — as the baby rapidly approaches, Brendan and Mabry will be bowing out for a while. This might mean we'll be discontinuing Early Throne Special for a while, but we'll see! I'd like to keep each of my timeslots a little more independent than they have been; eliminating ETS will accomplish that, but so will just taking a little more care in game scheduling. But if you don't see posts going up on Saturday around lunchtime, that's probably what's happened.

That flying minigame was...weird. Like, it was really cool to pilot a da Vinci flying machine, it just felt totally incongruous with the rest of the game. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, breaks things up a bit. But I guess Ezio wasn't good enough at flying, because we were too late to save the doge. However, we were real quick to take out his assassin.

Before jumping into today's stuff, I wanna remind y'all that I'll be playing Super Mario RPG, beginning at 2pm ET on the 31st, and continuing until I beat the game, probably sometime Sunday morning. I had so much fun with last year's Chrono Trigger marathon that I think I'm going to have to make this a tradition, at least until I run out of suitable games. My trip to Tucson wasn't quite as long as I'd expected, but it was fun, productive and lucrative! And now I'm back to start streaming again, returning to the story of Desmond Miles as he continues to discover how inextricably tied up in this conspiracy he is.
